This policy explains what personal information Sketchliners Style collects, why, and how we look after it. Sketchliners Style is a personal styling service run by Supriya Mule in Mumbai, India, and is responsible for your information.
What we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone or WhatsApp number and email address.
- Booking details: the service you choose, dates, your occasion and whether it is virtual or in person.
- Styling details you choose to share: style preferences, sizes, body shape notes, photos of you or your wardrobe, budget and event details.
- Payment records: the amount, date and payment reference. Card and bank details are handled by our payment provider; we do not see or store them.
- Website data: basic technical information such as your browser and device, collected by our website host and font provider to deliver the site.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange your booking.
- To deliver your styling service and follow-up support.
- To take payment, issue refunds and keep the records we are required to keep.
- To send updates about your booking. We only send marketing messages if you agree, and you can stop them at any time.
We use your information on the basis of the consent you give when you contact or book with us, and to meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as our website and booking platform (Wix), our payment provider, and email and WhatsApp, and only as needed for that purpose. We may also share it where the law requires.
Photos
Photos you send are used only to style you. We will never post them publicly without your clear permission.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while we are working with you and for as long as needed afterwards for support, accounts and tax records. After that we delete it. You can ask us to delete your styling photos and notes sooner.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or update it;
- delete it, where we no longer need to keep it;
- withdraw your consent, which will not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
You can also nominate someone to act for you, and raise a complaint with us. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe and only let people who need it see it. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure.
Children
Our services are for adults. If we style someone under 18, we will do so only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page.
